Introduction

Healing begins with feeling truly understood

Vibha Jain is a clinical hypnotherapist who has dedicated her practice to one of the most misunderstood mental-health conditions: obsessive-compulsive disorder. She believes that behind every compulsion is a person who is tired, frightened and trying their best to feel safe — and that lasting change starts not with judgement, but with compassion.

Her work blends the science of the mind with a genuinely warm, human presence. Clients often describe their first session as the first time they have spoken about their intrusive thoughts without fear of being seen as "strange" or "broken." That sense of safety is intentional — it is the foundation on which all of Vibha's work is built.

Whether you are at the very beginning of understanding your OCD or you have spent years searching for something that finally helps, you will find here a steady, patient guide who meets you exactly where you are.

Professional Journey

A path shaped by curiosity & care

Vibha's journey into hypnotherapy grew from a deep fascination with the relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind — and a desire to help people who felt stuck despite trying everything. Over years of dedicated study and hands-on practice, she developed a particular focus on anxiety-based conditions, and OCD in particular.

She has worked with clients facing a wide spectrum of OCD presentations: contamination fears, checking compulsions, intrusive and taboo thoughts, symmetry and "just right" urges, and the quiet, exhausting world of purely mental rituals. This breadth means she rarely meets a concern she hasn't encountered before — and that experience translates into calm, confident, non-judgemental support for you.

Alongside one-to-one therapy, Vibha leads relaxation and emotional-wellbeing workshops, sharing practical nervous-system tools with wider communities and helping to dissolve the stigma that still surrounds OCD and anxiety.

Philosophy

The beliefs that guide every session

Vibha's philosophy is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: you are not your thoughts, and you are not your OCD. The obsessive thoughts that frighten you are not reflections of who you are — in fact, they often distress you precisely because they clash with your values. Understanding this distinction is frequently the first moment of relief a client experiences.

"My role is not to fix you, because you are not broken. My role is to help your mind remember the calm it already knows how to feel."

She believes recovery should never feel like a battle you are losing against yourself. Instead of forcing change through willpower — which OCD has a way of exhausting — hypnotherapy works with the mind, easing it into a relaxed, receptive state where new, healthier patterns can take root naturally and gently.

Above all, Vibha believes in hope grounded in honesty. She will never promise an overnight cure, but she will walk beside you with patience, realistic encouragement and an unwavering belief in your capacity to heal.

Treatment Approach

Personalised, paced and rooted in safety

No two minds are the same, so no two plans are either. Here is how Vibha shapes care around you.

Understand First

Before any technique, Vibha listens. Mapping your specific obsessions, compulsions and triggers ensures everything that follows is genuinely relevant to your life.

Calm the System

Deep relaxation and breathwork settle an over-activated nervous system — the physiological engine that powers anxiety and compulsion.

Reframe Patterns

In a relaxed, focused state, Vibha helps the subconscious respond differently to intrusive thoughts, weakening the urge to ritualise.

Build Tools

You learn self-hypnosis and grounding techniques to use between sessions, so progress belongs to you — not just to the therapy room.

Track & Adjust

Progress is reviewed openly. Your plan flexes as you grow, keeping it effective and aligned with how you're actually feeling.

Sustain Calm

The goal is durable, everyday freedom — a steadier baseline you can maintain long after our work together ends.

Values

What you can always count on

These aren't slogans — they're the non-negotiables that protect your dignity and your progress in every interaction.

  • Confidentiality — your story is held in complete privacy, always.
  • Compassion — zero judgement, no matter what thoughts you bring.
  • Honesty — realistic expectations and transparent guidance.
  • Respect for your pace — you are never pushed faster than feels safe.
  • Empowerment — you leave more capable than you arrived.
